So finally this looks like it can ship to New Zealand, however, $21 shipping cost and the plugs do not suite australia/newzealand.

Hmm, at first I thought it had an inverter in it and I thought that was cool. Then I realized it was just a surge protector. Anyone know of any mobile powerbanks with inverters?

Is the dock capable of outputting power /wo being plugged into a wall?

qwazwakYes, I want to know if this can be used to charge a laptop without the device being connected to a wall outlet. Although at 5200mAh it probably wouldn't last long.

qwazwakThat's the thought that brought above-average interest to this drop for me, but I've gotta say it seems very unlikely. The description only describes it as a dock/USB outlet, and the electrics to make it supply power from a battery would probably make it expensive and/or bulkier. So probably not? But it would be nice to hear an official answer.

Weird product. It plugs into the wall, so the charging cables built into the base are too short to be really useful in most situations. Lack of USB C isn't great either. The idea is nice but I think it needs refinement before I put my money into one.

OborawatabinostNo USB-C kills this straight away, but I don't see any value in this design over more straight-forward power packs (e.g. Lepow) with replaceable USB cables that are much less expensive.

I won't lie, this looks fantastic. I love the multistage design and the plug in and forget aspect. Just don't live on tablets or phones enough to justify it.

5200 mAh? Meh, I have a 13200 mAh that cost less than the ~$70. Besides, this seems to not come with a European plug :-/

You will find that there are power banks in the 25,000 mAh range offered by both Anker & Juiced. It's something I can guarantee was a great investment; My colleague purchased his own Anker 26k+ mAh bank, and he loves it. I charge an iPhone SE & Sony Xperia Z5C fully on it at least three times each per full charge on my personal one & it's been running strong for almost a whole year now, (purchased on the debut of Pokemon GO.) I travel a week a month on planes and have had no issues traveling with it.
You can find it here - https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Portable-Double-Speed-Recharging/dp/B01JIWQPMW/ref=sr_1_7?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1489517796&sr=1-7&keywords=anker+power+bank

If anybody is wondering like I was, the boostPack (the upper portion) apparently is 5200 mAh according to the indiegogo page. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/fuelbox-the-ultimate-charging-solution-power-battery#/
Also, the whole setup seems to go for about $120 on Amazon and whatnot, so $70 is well below street price.

I never said it is a good price, but there are 35 buyers in the drop, so I'd say somebody on the street is buying it.
