I love my X-T1. Highly recommend getting the 56mm f1.2; 50-140mm f2.8; 10-24mm f4 to go along with this as a solid setup.

zsk5same setup I have. Plus the xf35mm f1.4, which I feel is a must have along with the xf23mm f1.4 Although, I must admit that I think about trading in the 10-24 for the 16mm f1.4 somewhat regularly...

g_loI have the 16 f/1.4 and it is an amazing lens that is tack sharp even when shot wide open. I HIGHLY recommend that lens.
Im only shooting with the 56mm f/1.2 and 16mm f/1.4 and they both take care of everything I need. I don't mind using my feet as a zoom ring :)

JzooSince posting original above I have picked up the 16mm as well. Thrilled with its versatile performance. Barely left my camera during a trip to Tokyo. In addition to landscapes, it's capable of interesting macro shots thanks to very short minimum focus range.

zsk5@Jzoo How do you guys feel about that particular lens for portrait shots as well? is this overall just a great everyday/general use lens?

LefibonacciBetter for macro/landscape... best fuji portrait lenses are the 56mm and 90mm. Shooting portrait with a wide angle will distort the subject.

LefibonacciThat one cat is correct in saying that the 56mm and 90mm are the portrait bread and butter lenses. However, I use wide angles as well and simply stand further back to no distort the subject, especially if I'm trying to capture the environment around the subject.
There re is nothing wrong with using a wide angle lens for portraits, but it has a VERY specific purpose in the portrait world. That use is to wrap the subject with the surroundings. For example:
