Honestly, I thought it was kind of funny. I got the email, clicked the link immediately, and it was already gone and 300+ had already requested it. The frustration comes from the fact that 90% of these aren't going into a PC. Most of them probably won't even go into mining rigs, they'll most likely be resold with super high markup. The gpu market is kind of starting to feel like buying concert tickets, they sell out within minutes at the original price, then resell for ridiculous prices.

zzzaacchhYeah, I originally only clicked to check the price. I already knew it would be sold out but I was hoping someone in the comments would say the price but all I saw was rage. Miners have definitely fucked the market and scalpers fucking suck. I like the way AMD had put some Vega 56 and 64 cards in bundles to discourage mass purchasing for mining or scalping, though I realize that isn't the optimal or most elegant solution.
I'm glad I purchased an RX 480 before all of this happened. I strongly debated whether I should or not. The only thing I regret is not getting into Bitcoin 4 years ago. My bank declined the transaction because they thought it was fraud and then I was just like fuck it and never tried purchasing again :(

I came here after the 1080 TI drop ended and managed to get one of these cards. I didn't have a quantity option when I bought mine and the price it went for was $449. I'm sorry to all of you my gaming brothers and sisters. I wish you all luck on the next drop or whenever the damn cryptocurrency market crashes. I will be using this to build my brothers first gaming pc so know this card is going to a good home.
