Feels a bit like a trick to get rid of old stock.
Edit: Also my scroll lock indicator doesn't seem to function. Edit 2: Looks like it doesn't have a scroll lock indicator, and what I assumed was the scroll lock indicator instead indicates whether or not the windows key is enabled. Edit 3: Response from manufacturer: " Different, as in updated for the 2018 model. As an end user, you will see 0 difference while using the 2017 model keyboard. When we introduced the TKL keyboard at the end of last year, we started using a new chip for the full size kb as well, hence the different model. But, this chip has the exact same features as the old one, it was just more convenient for us to switch to it. Ultimately, we had to offer firmware for the new chip, too. "
