By the way, those are watches of new production or NOS ?
Difference is essential...

ChakalSourcing hundreds of NOS vintage watches of particular models from a multitude of sellers, then confirming authenticity and finally offering 2 year MANUFACTURER warranty ? Are you crazy?

VirguleIm triying to find out if they are new or have been stored for several years. Maybe "NOS" is not the right word.
By the way I bought one in blue dial...

ChakalThis is a question you can ask with everything you buy except perishable food. You won't get any response to that question from any vendor as it's as you're asking for them to disclose the details of their logistics information. Unless a model gets overhauled and you can physically see that the model sold is not the new one, or unless you can deduce that information from the serial number you'll end up getting, it's useless to ask.
Vendor's logic : You want a SST12 and I'm selling you one.

Virgule I dont agree with you. A perishable product is not the same as a watch. I do not care if the watch has been stored or not. I only care that is it not necessary to do a maintenance service in a short period of time. If watch is running and unworn is the thing...
Perhaps my curiosity is because I am European. and here this kind of questions are not strange and you can ask and you are answered naturally. I dont know the uses and policies of US commerce, but your answers miss me...Who are you? Sellers friend? His spokesman?
Thank you

ChakalThey are at the most, a couple years old. Probably less than 2 years. They are apparently clearing out inventory to prepare for new models, introduced at the 2017 Basel Show. I bought one of these back in February and it runs great and looks great, too. As they say in Great Britain, "Buy with Confidence"!
