I received my package this afternoon
I'm really surprised, i don't waiting it so soon
But i'm disappointed, i have a sellita SW330 inside instead of an ETA 2893
DR.ZAPLet's call it what it is, an outright lie; especially when the question, which Glycine quoted directly, had specifically asked about ETA vs. Sellita.
Why lie, especially about something so easily verifiable after the sale? I wouldn't have cared either way, but knowing that the company is not above being shady to make a quick buck really diminishes the brand.
Eddy-Ginieafter swatch group bought out ETA, they slowly stopped sellin the ETA movement, but because the copyright being over, sellita basically copied the design, and started selling ebauches to microbands-bigger names. Inherently, you're getting the same thing but not the ETA name.
With ETA, they have grades, so the higher grade = better (although not all the time, you'd need a watchmaker to literally look at the guts of the watch to see if any cleaning/work needs to be done).
still gaining knowledge on sellita to see if they have grades as well or not.
wchuttI did do research on this and it appears that Sellita movements are slightly better. They have a more consistent rate. Sellita added an extra jewel to avoid friction also.

"Hello
The movement is based on the ETA 2893-2
Thanks"
Not a lie, but not altogether forthcoming either haha
