Oh wow. I had been a big fan of Glycine's design for a long time. Had no idea Invicta bought them. Will def stay far away now.

Why? Most watch brands are owned by large corporate groups: Lange, Omega, Hamilton, Panerai,...
There are very few independent companies out there, and most of them are new firms that bought dead brand names (Blancpain, Squale,...).

I'm thinking the opposite, buy a pre-Invicta Glycine. It might just go up in value over time.
