I have this watch and it is a beauty (in the eye of the beholder, of course). Perfect for dressy occasions with a nice combination of the understated sunburst dial and Bauhaus face. Mine is day/date with date at 6:00 position. I picked mine up used for a song.
So, still more expensive than other sites. *nailed it*

I think you are wrong. The 38mm is cheaper but not the 42mm...you really *nailed it*. phht.
Maybe you could release below! Hamilton Khaki Pilot 46mm
Literally MORE expensive than Amazon with free two day shipping. Wait for shipping, AND lose your warranty just to pay more?

My mistake!
GoForChill
wrong.
Good watch -- at the wrong price.

Still a better deal than that $1500 dollar watch the same movement that was here a few days ago. But yeah, I have no idea how they expect people to pay grey market prices and have to wait longer than if they bought it from Joma, Ashford, or Amazon.

Exactly, and without any type pf warranty.
Ah, a nice Bauhaus inspired Hamilton. Too bad that real Bauhaus classics (Junkers) are around the same price and better looking..

Correct! Off course Max Bill was the "mac daddy" of those watches, but still there were many others as well. Once you dive into the history of the brands from back then a world opens ;-)
They're not actually related. That's misinformation. The current brand run by Point Tec has zero to do with anything associated with Hugo Junkers aside from the name.
In addition, the Hamilton is a design that dates back to the 1950s, I believe - from Hamilton. If they're making an "homage" of anything, it's their own watch.
Sorry but a 30 day guarantee in place of a warranty is not acceptable for any watch let alone one at this price point, I don't care how reputable the brand. MD please don't make this a trend.
This is $527 at Amazon w/free shipping for Prime members and includes a two year warranty. It's $508 at Jomashop with their 1-year warranty. Not the most impressive drop.
Is the ...55151 $20 or$70 more? The text area and the photo areas indicate different numbers.
Can someone from MD operations verify there is no warranty at all on this?

If the technical description at the end of the drop page does not mention a manufacturer's warranty, then no, it does not have a manufacurer's warranty, only the MassDrop 30-day guarantee. No manufacturer's warranty has been included with any Hamilton drop.
JakeRoberts
Stop wasting our time dropping Hamilton's with no warranty at higher prices than we can all buy them on Amazon and Jomashop etc etc etc... that's not what this is supposed to be for, go find an actual DEAL on something
I want this so bad it hurts. But price needs to be lower.
Price is no deal and is out of line actually. Been looking at this watch for a couple years. Shame it is 2 hands. Autos should have some sort of second hand, at least a sub second dial. If I was going to buy it would be from some place with watch in stock at lower price and free 2 day shipping.

This one also has 2 year warranty vs 30 day mass drop. wow how much fail can you pack into one drop?
I have to say that many watches I have ordered in America have these great low prices but when they ship out of America, they try to make it all back on the shipping. A drop from a while ago had this great Amazon price link that I followed. Once I got there and they realized I was in Canada, shipping was a hundred bucks. Okay...so I am in the country next door... It makes me wonder if some of these drops are out there mostly for the rest of the world—we have Massdrop Brothers and Massdrop Sisters in Europe (where these things are generally more expensive), Asia, Oceania, etc. I know in my case, I have jumped in and bought when Americans wouldn’t because sometimes Massdrop is the best we foreigners (lol) can do. And, let’s face it, Massdrop is also a great community and I buy because—if it’s only a few bucks—I enjoy supporting this community.
That's a very sharp looking watch. it really shouldn't but the lack of a seconds hand bothers me.
This was offered before at $479 lowest drop price. What gives?
Just realize Intra Matic does not have the "Seconds" Hand. Saw it on several youtube reviews that is 4 years old
Does the leather band have a deployable clasp?
delnerdo
Pretty sure the leathers on the intra matic are tang and buckle, not deployant.
StainlessOnly
You are correct: polished stainless steel single pin buckle.
One of the photos have the jomashop stamp on it fyi :)

I'm glad I have the community support from everyone. Finding good deals and it being legit is always a +.
I bought replicas a long time ago and did not know any better; bad experience. I rather buy a no-name than replica.
A shame that the 38mm with white dial is not offered here. I would love the 38mm with white dial and leather strap.

Me too! i was waiting for the 38mm Silver Dial (H38455751)...... so sad!
Trond
Agreed. Can't help but think this version would wear large IRL, given that it's almost all dial.
Missing the only version I've been wanting, 42mm black dial w/ metal bracelet.

No clue. are you on WUS forums?
Datasci
Am now. Username bloomphoto.
I've got the 38mm silver dial version of this and use it as a dress watch for weddings and such, it's fantastic, looks great on the bracelet, on a leather deployant, and on perlon in the summer.
Does the silver dial have a true silver dial? Also, why use the 2892 instead of the 2824? I thought the former was a chrono movement.
SkipPp
Most dials are brass with a finishing layer on top, silver here is a descriptor rather than a material. The ETA 2892 is a thinner, technically higher grade movement than the 2824, though the actual advantages are debatable. You're thinking of the 2894, which is a modular chronograph: a 2892 movement as a base with an added chronograph module on top.
My single biggest beef about the Intra-matic is that it lacks a second hand. I always like seeing a second hand sweep across a dial - it helps me confirm (almost instantaneously) that the watch is running and keeping time. Otherwise, it's nearly perfect. The only changes I would personally make, aside from the second hand, would be the removal of the date window and an increase in size to 39mm.

An Antea 39, actually. Same sparse dial aesthetic and straight lugs. Numerals instead of indices, flat dial (instead of slightly pie-pan), and the piece de resistance, three heat-blued hands.
Too bad I rarely dress up enough to take it out.
My Khaki mechanical feels huge because of the straight lugs. 38mm, but wears like 40mm+.
Any chance we could design some custom versions of this watch w/ Hamilton?
Is there a warranty on this watch?

Yes, it's frustrating beyond belief--we have been commenting about this warranty issue for drop after drop, and the SILENCE FROM MASSDROP IS DEAFENING. I am sorry to yell, but no warranty offered hurts watch drops and traction Massdrop might build with successful drops.
I was wondering about the Warrinty so thanks for the info Guys!
