rumata13They all went to Amazon and Jomashop.
Hello. We were able to work out a better price with the supplier on this watch so we have removed the up-charge. The price of this watch is $519.

Love these Hamiltons. Would jump on this if it were one of the versions with arabic numerals (the jazzmaster). This is an absolutely classic, restrained retro aesthetic. Whisky and Don Draper.

The khaki/green band Alpinist was around the $749 mark on a one day deal recently, I find if you wait you seem to always be about $150 or so better off; if you don't mind Citizen today's deal of the day isn't too bad either. A very high spec watch.

Bad News: This watch is actually $589 after they charge you for the case-color upgrade you can't un-chose. This watch comes in both 38mm and 42mm case sizes. MD is offering only the 42mm size. Good News: Especially for slim-wristed members--if you like the watch and it's desirable ETA movement, but don't care for the gold colored 42mm case, you can buy the steel version in the 38mm size for $525 at Jomashop: https://www.jomashop.com/hamilton-intra-matic-men-watch-h38455751.html Or for $523 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Intra-Matic-Black-Leather-H38455751/dp/B008AW8OE4

I think it's so cute how your lackeys jump to your defense- lovers gonna love, I guess. He even gave you permission to continue wearing it! Don't feel bad, we all fall for marketing at some point. I'm also glad you found some folks to validate your ever-so-fragile opinion about it. The movie still sucks. P.S.- Pretty sick burns, man. You called me a name and suggested a watch for me. I may never fully recover. I'll just have to soldier on, as it were. Tough days ahead. But I think I'm up for the challenge. Well, I mean, unless you burn me again...sick burns, man. XOXO

Dear Drop, > The movement is safe up to 50 meters underwater. You really must stop using this sort of language in your marketing blurbage. While I don't expect more than 50m water resistance in a dress watch, it is by no means "safe". New watch purchasing customers will be mislead - it may be water resistant, but I wouldn't dive to 50m with it and expect it to remain remain dry. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_Resistant_mark#Water_resistance_classification

all the needless branding/marketing on the face ruin the watch. the hammy logo is all it needs, if anything

WilzThe thing I would remove is the date (or change the date wheel for a black one which my watch maker has done on a lot of my watches).
Wilz??? This dial is the definition of clean. Literally almost every single watch I have ever owned has had more text or markings on the dial.
