This actually kinda brought a tear to my eye. I bought this exact hammock six years ago, I lived out of it for six months in what I can only describe as the life of lavishness. This hammock is awesome, but the rain fly is shite. Please go and upgrade to the octagonal tarp, and you will never have a problem.

I have owned a Hennessy Deep Jungle for about 3 years now. I tried one at Trail Days in Damascus Va. and fell in love.I was skeptical as a side sleeper but it works great. I have done dozens of night in the backyard and on the AT and just love the quality but the best part is the ease with which the Hennessy design sets up. They are designed to be pulled tight between anchors instead of searching for the magic 30 degree angle. I would HIGHLY recommend this product if you were looking for a first hammock because you'll never sleep on the ground again ( and it may never have to be replaced ). Everything supplied is top quality and compatible with any upgrades you may want to make later

LamarrHow does the classic bottom entry work? It seems counter intuitive to me, laying on top of the opening. Is it difficult to enter and get sealed up under your body weight?

ScotThe opening is at the foot end so your head pops up thru the end of the floor and you just sit down. Your weight is naturally in the center and the closure isn't an issue. Hennessy has great product videos on YouTube.
