Finally got a chance to take this out for a spin on a 4-day car camping trip in the northeast. I've had other large and small water carriers, and this one is hands down my new favorite. Capacity is excellent for its weight, it's easy to carry both loaded and empty, filling it up was simple through the wide mouth (even from an aggressively spraying camp faucet) and I'm very happy with how the tap system works. No leaks, no issues, and far fewer trips to the water source from camp than last year.
There was a bit of an odd taste (baking soda wash, then vinegar wash, then baking soda wash). Other than that, it is my new favorite water holder for long road trips. I also own a Hydrapack water bladder, and the connectors are interchangeable. So, I have an 8L water holder, with a nice long, pumped, pipe for water. Ask me anything about this.
