At first glance, the all-black IDOBAO DSA Sakura keycap set might look like any other straight-forward setup. Look more closely though, and you’ll see Japanese symbol accents laser-etched in either blue or red on all the alpha keys, plus some subtle floral symbols on the modifiers Read More

I paid $19 for these caps and honestly was not expecting much. However, after using them for a few days they have quickly become some of my favorite caps.
I primarily use split boards, and this set had plenty of caps to create a configuration that visually makes sense.
The design is a bit busy, but it's grown on me.
Overall, I would definitely recommend.
Overall I'm pretty happy with these keycaps. The simple white legends on black caps is a nice design; the blue Japanese characters are a clever design too. The legends are crisp and the keycaps have a smooth, very small texture to them. My only reason for being a 4 star is that DSA just isn't my favorite profile.
Getting Japanese characters on a keycaps that are not GMK/Cherry are pretty rare. It take some time to get use to them but they are pretty decent. Get the red color because the blue color take's a little to much from the keyboard/keycap. Decent Quality and they come with a bunch of extra keycaps in case you have an awkward keyboard layout.
Look great and don't feel cheap like some caps around this price. Feel and sound high quality and are decently thick as well. And even though the legend is printed on you can't really feel the printing unless you are trying to. Overall there's really nothing to complain about. Just great keycaps at a great price.
Really love how these keys look and feel in person. For me these are like having the best of both worlds between a low profile cap and keycaps that are just slightly concave.
I have a lightweight portable board and like to have a low uniform profile so it can slide in my backpack easier. DSA is perfect for that! The "dot" keys are also a decent replacement for F/J homing keys.
