intrepped99% certain the ones linked above have a plastic case. The one being offered in this drop has a full aluminium body.

intreppedWhen I joined the last drop it wasn't on Amazon and there was no solid date for when it would be. I also assumed that Amazon would probably have the same, or very close price, but I guess I should have waited since I have prime; it would have saved me $30 and depending on when they started selling it I might have even got it sooner.

Herp_McDerpIt doesn't say, so you could be right but I'd contact iKBC to be certain. If that's the case, $20 upcharge for a full sized aluminum case is a great deal, depending on the quality that is.

ObscureReferenceThe one you link is not the MF108 which is the aluminum body... Also, the aluminum version does not have any feet on the underside.

ObscureReferenceThat isn't the aluminum version. The aluminum version weighs almost 5.5lbs and the version you linked shows the whole package weight as 3.9lbs.

TheZlogI wouldn't trust package weight on anything. I recently ordered 11lbs of protein powder and usps had my package weight at 8lbs. My scale read there was 12.5lbs in the box including the other things I ordered with it, which sounded about right.

intreppedTrue, but you can also go into the IKBC store and see the aluminum version for sale. It doesn't list the weight on that listing, but it specifies that it is Aluminum ;)

intreppedI've only had it for a week, but the thing is heavy and feels really solid. I'm really tempted to buy another for the office, but I don't think my co-workers would appreciate those blues like I do.
