Hi Everyone,
We have an update on the Ergodox Kit. We’ve received confirmation from the warehouse that we have the correct quantity of left and right PCBs. Now the warehouse is re-packaging all orders and preparing them for shipment. We expect these remaining orders to start shipping by 10/20, and the shipments will be expedited.
Thanks to everyone for their patience with this drop. We're looking forward to you all receiving the Ergodox kits.

AveryCMany of us have already opened support tickets. I have one opened for a whole MONTH and the last reply I got was "we're waiting for the warehouse to confirm the supply", and this was only after I reached out again.
We have received no confirmation or information on what the game plan is for those who received the wrong parts other than "we might do another run of boards, we'll see" from YanboWu a few weeks back.
So far the lackluster information being posted here (no official e-mails concerning this drop in months either!!) is the best we have. In light of my experience, it's kind of laughable that your recommendation is to talk to support.

Got my left hand PCB package today and to my great surprise it contained another right hand PCB. This is completely unacceptable at this point. MD took an entire month to open up packages and verify the inventory and still couldn't even get the right parts put into the correct package.
Completely ridiculous. We deserve some sort of goodwill compensation at this point for having to put up with this level of incompetence.

ChitownM2I received a left board, thankfully it's working properly so far. Built it last night and apart from a botched LED job (due to my laptop's USB's not delivering enough power and confusing me) it seems to be working as intended. Massdrop has not asked me to return the other right board as of yet...

AveryCWell, they must be kidding me. I have received another right-hand PCB while waiting for a left one. Now I have three right-hand to play around, thanks to Massdrop!! This has been the worst experience I have had here.

The remaining PCBs are being overnighted from our warehouse to our office in San Francisco. Once the parts arrive Yanbo and the team will sort them by hand. When we have a better understanding of the inventory, we will be able to send you the correct parts.

Maybe an update is in order? Also since we've seen a couple more posts of people getting 2 right hand PCB's ;)

AveryCGot mine two weeks ago. It had the correct parts, one scratch on the acrylic, but went together pretty well. No problem with stabs on mine with Cherry Brown switches.

mightyjongyoI'm going to be really interested to see how my white fox kickstart order works out. it's hard not to take sides in all of the drama when md packing department clearly is not concerned with doing a thorough, accurate job. i mean if they were sent the wrong stuff, then shouldn't be sending that wrong stuff out to us. fix it, then send it out to us. this delays things even longer, and having a working infinity before xmas is looking really bleak right now:(
