My kit arrived on Monday Oct 3, 5 month after joining the drop and 12 days after shipping notification was issued. DHL is sucks. Do not believe their tracking info. I started to worry in the day when my package was estimated to arrive and it did not. Status was "Accepted by USPS" for 5 days with no more updates at that moment. I've called USPS, they opened a case, and call me back soon to tell that they do not have my package. For my question of how it was "accepted" then, they answered that in fact the bigger container which supposed to have my package inside was accepted, but then my package was not found there, so no more updates. Apparently, the individual package get scanned only when it is processed through the sorting, before that there are big container get scanned. So, then I called to DHL with the same question "where is my package?" and they said that although my estimated delivery date is Sep 29, this is the earliest possible date, and I shouldn't worry until Oct 5, because in their system the Oct 4th is the "realistic" delivery date. What I understood between lines is that the tracking I see online is not necessarily track my physical package! This is just some logistic possibility for my package route, but physical package may by passed from DHL to USPS in the next container. After one week of frozen status it was updated to "Arrived USPS Sort Facility" and on DHL site it was the same facility as it was "accepted" before, but the USPS site shown other location, so I assume that was really the other container from DHL. Then the package was delivered to my home the next business day. Why all that misleading tracking? I could understand if the package is not shipped, but in my case it was kind of "sitting" near me for a week with no updates, so naturally I thought it was lost.
