Just joined the drop, and I was checking out the Configurator, to get a head start on making a layout. The description page here on Massdrop shows the default bindings for each key layout, and I had a question: What is F1? I don't mean regular F1 that is used in video games and stuff, but the one next to RALT on the layout, the cursive f? What purpose does it serve, and would I be better replacing it in the editor?
If I'm overthinking it and it is just function like on my V60 Mini, than what are Latch 1 and Lock 1 in the configurator, and the differences?

HotSauceMasonThat f1 (and f2 f3 another f) is the function (fn) trigger. The number is actually the layer number of the map. Say if you set layer 0 qwerty, layer 1 colemak, layer 2 dvorak, holding f1 will change the layout to colemak (layer 1) and holding f2 will change the layout to dvorak (layer 2).
About the latch, if you set f1 to latch then when you press f1 (not holding it) the next press of any key will be from the layer 1 and after that key is pressed all of the key will be back to layer 0. About the lock, if I remember correctly it behave like a toggle, if you set f1 to layer 1 and behave with lock then when you press it the layout will change to layer 1 and will be layer 1 until you press f1 again then it will be back to layer 0.

JebbraThank you so much, I completely understand now. That was a very good explanation.
