Blending aspects of pilot watches with aspects of dress watches, the Ingersoll New Orleans has a little bit of everything—just like the city it’s named after. The watch gets power from an automatic movement, which is clearly visible from the open heart at 6 o’clock on the dial. Northeast of the open heart is a power-reserve indicator that fluctuates as you move your wrist and charge the movement. Around the textured dial are a mix of stick markers and a large Arabic numeral 9 and 12. Finally, the bezel can be rotated to track elapsed time, courtesy of the secondary crown at 10 o’clock on the 100-meter water-resistant stainless steel case.
