On the serious side, I'm surprised that nobody has joined this drop. And I think that I may know one of the reasons. I had assumed that this was another "steak knife" drop. But it's a full line of what appear to be good quality, reasonably priced knives. In particular, I particularly like the inclusion of a solid looking 10-inch chef's knife. So many knife skills rely on pivoting from the point or the base, and the extra 2 inches over an 8-inch knife really help. You don't use the extra length to cut with, but rather to control the knife with. If I needed knives I might go for this, maybe the paring, the santoku, and the 8- and 10-inchers, adding a cheaper and longer bread knife from another brand.

This is my everyday carry knife, mostly for self-defense, but sometimes I whittle on a stick or butcher javalina carcasses. I pair it with the Zugenruhe leather tactical sheath.
The cork handle doesn't get slippery, even when covered in blood. Great friction and grip.
