Compared to other budget fountain pens I have, I feel these are quite poor quality. Also for a medium they write fairly fine and the ink flow is not that great. I'll probably stick to mu Jinhao's for budget pens.
Satisfied with my purchase. Two pens allows you to try two different inks. You get the one with the drop, then go online and find a seller that has samples and buy a bunch of those to try out. Once you find an ink you like, and if you eventually do get into fountain pens, there are a whole slew of styles and varieties of pens and nibs out there. I've discovered a new, relatively inexpensive hobby. Now I am learning how to write in cursive all over again. Good for the brain, they say. Write a letter to your mom, she'll appreciate it.
bought these a while back. They are poor quality. The plastic material used is prone to cracking when the pen is unscrewed, and then pen then becomes useless.
FYI: it’s a medium nib, and very smooth—at least the two I got are. Look—this isn’t a Pelikan 1000, but it is a rather decent pen, and quite a bargain at the price, two pens for $30, plus the 10 ml ink bottle. I’m glad I got this because they’ve been great for testing my inks before I try them out in one of my more expensive pens. It’s not an expensive pen, it won’t last you forever, but don’t complain— it’s not a bad deal, and it’s also good for testing inks, or testing yourself to see if you might like writing with a fountain pen. (Just don’t press too hard, with these or any other fountain pen. 😀 .
Does anyone know how scratchy these nibs are and if they're suitable for daily use after a bit of tuning?
Two $1 feeling pens plus 10ml of ink... You must be having a laugh.

The pens retail for $17.99 on amazon. If you're looking for a good beginner kit, it's better pricing than there.
Got mine and while I like the pens for what they are, they do feel a bit 'cheap' but I gave one to a friend who wanted to exactly, start the hobby, and he was very pleased. So that made me happy to lure him into the nerderie of pens! :)
I would say that this package is a nice starter kit and well worth getting if you are interested to see what it's all about. Would have liked the option to have a jet black ink though. Being popular it was out of stock already when I joined the drop.
I submitted an order, but,no response.

Which size ink bottle is that? From the picture, it looks like their mini sample bottle of 10 ml. That's not much ink....

It's enough ink to fill it a couple of times. I have a 10mil of the Rouge Opera in a Metro that I only use for corrections and the bottle has lasted for 8 months now, and going strong.

Yeah it's the 10 ml. Sorry if this was late but just received my order. The larger is of different shape.
Where is fountain pen made in?
Ink amount?
So I think the pens are about $18 or so MSRP each, so you get 2 plus a bottle of ink for $30 which is like... probably $10 off or so? Just a guess.

Don't get ink from Amazon. I've seen too many broken ink bottles.

I've actually had good luck with ink from Amazon, surprisingly! Now, though, I just good Noodler's because of the plastic bottle haha. But I've had J. Herbin ink and stuff like that deliver no problem
Indeed. Massdrops continued sloppiness is rapidly eroding its credibility.
What size is the bottle of ink?
