Almost $50 for a place to put my pen. For others like me that might think this is a waste of money, I'll tell you what I use. I was able to buy a sword rack for those miniature replica swords. Mine holds two but I think you can find some that hold three or more. Price is under $2 on AliExpress. Other things that would work well are e-cigarette holders and pipe holders.
AlawishisIt's about art and design. I'm sure that there are lots of things that you could get cheaper that would hold a pen. It's not always about what's cheap.
AlawishisThat's actually a really good idea, but there are also those of us who think they are not a waste of money. Like @PeterWheeler said, it's about art and design. Also, if you have $1,000 pens, maybe they look better on a nice JZ design instead of a $2 piece of wood??
Just received the Octopus. It looks almost as stunning as seen in the picture except the front tentacles are flat! Any pen that I placed on the suggested spot just rolled off instantly. Any suggestions?
OliveMassdrop promptly issued a return label when I notify the issue. The problem was, I purchased two penholders and paid for relatively high shipping+custom+DHL handling fee. By returning one I had to swallow almost equal amount of lost for one set.
In our communications Massdrop said they will let the vendor know. Since I have not had any follow up, how the quality control issue will be resolved is unknown.
Is it not the best feeling to look at a less than perfect item on regular basis so for international customers I'd say buy at your own risk.
I find it misleading when a drop is cited at a certain price and then almost all of the options, except for a couple of "loss leaders," actually cost more.
Some of these are cheaper on Amazon (Buddha currently $31.99 plus shipped to you in 2 days)... where is the bulk savings? I was excited when I saw this available but after looking at some the savings boil down to wait 3-4 weeks to maybe save. I'd really like to see some real savings on these unique stands.
