The DC20xx's are all the same machine - they're just a different color every year. It's also a great machine, FYI (I have one).

$449.00 is the regular price pretty much anywhere. Also, this is an older model, replaced by the DC2013, DC2014, and DC2015, all available for $499. Just FYI.

I currently own this machine and I love it. It will pretty much sew anything I throw at it. I wish it did have a presser foot pressure adjustment, but all the machines that have it (that weren't from a big box store) were out of my price range at the time. I purchased my machine from a local dealer for $450 almost 3 years ago.

That is too much $$$$ for a machine without presser foot pressure adjustment. This is typical of Walmart machines, NOT good enough for a quilter.

PonydriverHi @Ponydriver.
This is a machine that is made for people that are interested in sewing lots of different projects, not just quilts. You are correct that this machine does not have a presser foot pressure adjustment but it does come with an even feed foot that will help make sure a quilt using low loft batting is fed evenly while quilting. There is also a ¼” foot that is great for piecing.
