Jesus Christ Almighty.
Got my package here in Canuckville & the boots are great and all that. What's not all that great is the 26$ border/customs fee I had to pay. I was under the impression that the only reason we put up with the USPS shipping shenanigans was to avoid this. I wish the border agents had a more straightforward policy regarding this.

Hey everyone, We have just been informed that our order of JD Fisk Valto Boots has been shipped out. We have already alerted our warehouse staff about this shipment, so we should be able to process the bulk shipment upon arrival, and repackage them into individual orders before shipping them out to everyone very quickly. We are expecting to have these out to everyone within 24 hours after the shipment arrives. Cheers!

Hey everyone, We have just submitted our order of the JD Fisk Valto Boots. Now that the bulk order has been placed, JD Fisk is preparing the order for shipment. In the meantime, we will also be preparing our warehouse to handle the reshipment of the product to everyone as soon as the order arrives. I'd like to mention that the poster spoke pretty glowingly about JD Fisk boots, and also the sizing issues were in only a few styles.

I'm really interested in grabbing a pair of these in chocolate, but before I commit, i'd read that JD Fisk boots size slightly larger? .5-1, according to this http://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/comments/13yee1/does_anyone_have_any_experience_with_jd_fisk_shoes/ comment- although I haven't spoken directly with the poster.
Should I size down or just go with my usual sizing? Thoughts? Anyone else heard similar stories?

jumeauI have two pairs of JD Fisk. They both run slightly large on me, but not enough to bother me. Other than that, I love the boots. Stitching on one pair had a slight problem and the insole wore out VERY quickly. My other pair have been flawless though.

These look great and the price is where I'd want it. Wish I hadn't just bought another pair of boots. Hopefully these pop up again later on.
