Any idea when these will drop again? Also, are those just painted on details or is it like actually reflect and or shine in different ways making it look like a "gem"?

I received 2 of my replacement keycaps, still have 2 more I've yet to receive.
Does Massdrop issue a new shipment number for tracking for the replacement keycaps for the other folks, I'm wondering if it's just me?

Hello all,
First of all, I would like to thank you Jelly Key for the update message regarding some of the issues from this drop. We would like to sincerely apologize for all of the inconvenience this has caused everyone that was affected.
We would also like to clarify and apologize for the miscommunication between our internal teams regarding on the replacement batch. Jelly Key has shipped us the perfect quantity of thee keycap replacements.
For those of you that have received the incorrect color on their replacements, please reach out to support if you have not done so for a refund/token of apologies.
Thank you all again for providing your feedbacks here, this keeps us in check and will for sure help us improve our process/work flow for the near-future.

@XiK - what are my options here?
I feel like this was a bit of a misrepresentation... and these were really not cheap... they're beautiful... but UNUSABLE because of the depth.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

Hi friends,
I would like to short address of your concern:
1. Massdrop did ask us about new batch of replacements, but haven't replied to us with the reason as to why they have been requested. The first email came to me 5 days ago, and the last email from me was sent 2 days ago. We won't confirm anything until we hear from Massdrop again. Kindly allow both of us sometime.
2. The color different from the original and the replacement. The fact is that it different from batch to batch, each artisan mix the color differently. Some comes darker and some come brighter. It's make each keycap unique. We apologize if there are significant differences in color that bother you.
3. The length of the original and replacement are slightly different because of different mold was used. Does the new keycap sit correctly on your keyboard? Please let me know how.
4. The wrong color replacement, is out of our reach. We can do so much in the fulfillment step, and there seems to have been a sorting mistake.
5. . Why does it not come with the wooden box and a unique serial number? It's because they are replacements, and with Massdrop, we did not ask for the original product to be returned. So customers will already have the original wooden boxes to use.
Kindly let me know if you have any issue with the replacement. Please wait a little bit.

What were you planning to do with it other than using it? Either way, broken or not, you might want to use it, and if it needs replacement, it'll be fine if it does break after the 2nd use. At least you can then verify that it indeed has faults that aren't excusable for the advertised quality of the product. In my experience, artisan makers, including Jelly Key, have been good at offering replacements for faults that are reasonably justifiable.
You could try it on and let us know the result, otherwise we dont' know what else to help you. If you have returned the product, because you didn't happy with the keycap. It's my apologize, hope to see you in the next Gb from JK :)

I got my replacement keys today, figured I would comment on this whole process.
First, replacements are in a sealed envelope. Not sure how this is a carton box... whatever.
Second, the keys were inside the envelope in an layer of bubble wrap. The actual mailer was your standard bubble mailer, not much protection for a $50 key.
Third, the replacements I got are the wrong colors. I should have looked at the envelope before I opened them but the invoice listed the correct colors so I didn't bother checking first. I should have received a red and green, I got blue and green. The sealed envelope for the red key lists Bellatrix as the color (Blue) and RED in the barcode. I guess these things happen but this has been very annoying as my first purchase on Massdrop.
Fourth, these keys do NOT appear to have an individual serial number like the originals. In the wooden case there is a unique serial number written on the inside. On the replacements, the envelope lists an SKU and a Massdrop barcode.
Last, there has been zero communication as to what I am doing with the defective keys. I was never sent any sort of return label or mailer, not even a mention of what to do with them. It would have been nice to have a wooden case to replace these with but again, as the serials don't match up and the fact that I was never told what to do with them doesn't mean I get to keep them. Communication from MD could have been way better.
The only positive I can see from this is that both keys are properly aligned, the both fit perfectly and match up with the R3 row. Fit is perfect, no wobble.
I have included a few pictures of everything so that others can get an idea of why I'm upset. I just needed to rant about this entire process. I am excited to get my Idea23 Enters shortly, I'm sure the quality will match these if not exceed them.

I understand using different words other than the actual color probably confused whoever was responsible for labeling and sorting them at MD. The biggest concern for me now is the fact that these replacements are ok quality at best. The coloring is off, the stems are thin and contain multiple deformations and bubbles. I understand they wanted to get these replacements out to replace the original batch of defective keys, but rushing something like this will always result in some corners being cut. Regardless, I think Massdrop attempted to do right by refunding those who got the wrong color replacement. I do think in the future better QA is needed by both JK and MD, especially with something this expensive.

TheEerieColdFor sure, I think the refunds are totally fine, and it is indeed a shame if you think that the quality is off at best. I found my replacements to be just fine, but I guess at this point, it's all subjective and about how nitpicky one can get about perceived quality. Given these issues, I highly doubt (and suggest, if JK is reading this) that we should ever see a JK/MD collaboration again. It's clearly apparent that neither MD is great for this kind of artisan sale, nor is JK ready to fulfill such a large number of orders. A lot of things simply went wrong, and this deal perhaps should not have been initiated.

I received a list from MassDrop, and it's very minor. So we would wait for another 7 days to start to produce the replacement. Our reservation for this GB is more than enough to cover the request. So It won't take much of your time to get the replacement.

JellyKeyNo, Massdrop didn't give me any confirmation. I thought you didn't do re-runs. This is why I'm a little concerned that Massdrop told me to wait for another drop. I understand there must be a lot of work that goes into these keys and the craftsmanship is beautiful. I would like a replacement if possible since it does sit misaligned.
