Why the hell doesn't this ship to Europe???*?
The 6+1+1 is still cheaper here than on Amazon by two whole dollars. I plan to use this as a docking station for my laptop so wonder what the performance the Ethernet port is. Unfortunately my WiFi doesn't reach my desk, so I have a sixteen port switch I use as a monitor stand and ethernet access to my home office.
Once again, this drop is less expensive on Amazon... Am I right? https://amzn.to/2IqQlOR

It really is getting old. Everything ive been interested in has been cheaper on amazon
i was planing to get the 6 hub, i figured the price would be 44.99 or 45.99 not sure but then i tried to get a review and hit this site https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1356978-REG/juiced_systems_6hub_01_juiced_6_1_1_gigabit_ethernet.html priced at 49.99 or 4/5 more expensive, what gives. i thought this was to get a few deals, but all the hassle to get not even a 10% rebate left me a bit sad how come
I've got the 7 port, works great.
I feel like a dummy, but how are these connecting to my pc?

Type A USB 3.0 Connection
I can see that the 13 port version has an on/off switch, just wondering if the 10 port version has an on/off switch on the same side as well?
andeelym
It does not have that on/off switch.
This would be killer if it had USB-C.
Alexdre119
I just got a charging doc at sams club for 20 dollars. I think it had 7 USB ports total.
Theodxpe
It had usb C and came with the cord too.
How many watts are these? Sure, you can plug 10 devices on it, but you're not going to power those 10 devices, if the watts the hub puts out is too low. And, yes, I understand this is a hub, not a charger, but still...if the wattage is too low I have to also make sure anything I plug in has adequate power adding to the cost.

i have a similar one and since it was "industrial" i simply upgraded the power adapter to 10A. Remember: its 12V which means as it gets voltage regulated to 5V you have about double the available Amps. Now the only question is can the hub hande that sort of current?
I've got two of these already, and they work great. Well worth it!
What color are the LED lights? I hate blue. My HooToo hub is green.
hylas512
The LED's are blue

Thanks.
I got this a week ago, and only now can I post a comment on it. This is really fits my need of having to plug in 10 USB devices to charge at night when I go to sleep, so I don't use up all my outlets. Just holding it gave me a really good impression that it works, and it did really well.
I received my Juiced 10-port a few weeks ago...and I am very impressed. The quality of the construction is the best I've seen in a USB hub. I've had a Aukey hub that was crap after a couple of months, so time will tell with the Juiced, but so far it is great!
[UPDATE] So I've had the device now for a few months and I am just as impressed now as I was when I first received it. It mounted on my with some double-sided tape and has performed flawlessly. I charge my phones, my watch, my BT headset with it all while having external drives connected and my Rhino X55 HOTAS to it and no problems!
Wait does this bundle come with all 4 of those usb hubs?

Did juiced copy anker or did anker copy juiced

Juice, Anker, Saitech, Aukey, RavPower, etc, all use the same manufacturer but slap their logo o it. This kind of practice is common.
I use a 10 port Juiced Systems USB 3.0 hub on a daily basis for my Alienware 17 R4 currently setup as a desktop. I have never had an issue with the hub, and I find it to be incredibly reliable and a insanely good value for the quality. I recommend these products, but I am not certain if a warranty is included.
Anyone know if this will work with USB powered external hard drives (Western Digital Passport, etc). I bought what was supposed to be a nice Anker powered 3.0 hub, but it works with everything BUT portable hard drives. At least Ankor was cool and refunded my purchase, but I still need something that works.

I have two WD portable drives connected at once to this hub, and they work great. On my previous hub, they tended to randomly disconnect from lack of power of I connected both at once, but my 6+1+1 hub hasn't had that issue.
Will this come with my local power plug? (AU) if I order?
what the fuck, this is way too over priced.
Jaysche
you can indeed find it at lower prices from reputable prod on other sites. Stay critical people.

Anker does it better
Why is the included USB cable is only 80cm long? That's not even 3ft. Isn't this supposed to be a premium product? The power cord is like 10 or 12ft long including the power supply. Would it kill them to provide a longer cable?

No they make 5ft and longer ones.
LightningStalker
Ah yes, I just looked it up and the max length is 3 meters, not 3 feet.
can i use this to as USB pass-through to connect to multiple USB devices to it instead of directly connecting to desktop?
Sawrub
That is exactly what a USB Hub is for.
What's the point of an Ethernet connection on a USB hub?

I'm not sure about this specific case, but USB over ethernet is a thing. Since USB is limited to how long your cable can run and ethernet isn't as much, you can put the hub much further away from the computer by connecting it via ethernet instead of USB.
Rochambeaux
for laptops with not ethernet port. but you have to make sure the usb connection is gigabit or wired will be slower than wifi
I have the 13 port hub and I love it. It's nice being able to swap between a 360 pad, DS4, joystick, and SNES pad whithout having to swap anything and I STILL have 9 usb ports at the ready. No driver issues on linux either, which is a huge plus. I never use the charging port though, kinda wish it was just another 3.0 port.

USB 3.0 hubs produce a crazy amount of wireless interference. It's a seldom talked about but known fact, look it up if you must. You'll have to play with positioning of the hub and your transmitter for your mouse.
NeonFlak
Yup. especially bluetooth.
Yeah...this is the same price on Amazon, with Prime, and free shipping. That said, I don't know if Massdrop charges sales tax, but I know AMZN does.
nappydrew
I know being in CA, I've been charged tax by Massdrop.

good to know
For an additional 1 cent, you can buy this on amazon and have it in 2 days.
I bought the smaller one on drop a few years ago. Appears to be the same one. Overall it's been a dissapointment. I have a lot of issues with running things through it that need to pass data back. I can't use it to plug my audio card into it because it will send choppy, slow audio but if I plug my audio card into the cheaper one I got on Amazon it works just fine. also the charger is weak And inconsistent. Id pass on this.
These appear to be rebranded Anker hubs. Available through amazon for a bit less.
sduck
I own one, definitely not an anker rebrand. Completely different case and plug size. That being said, I think the Anker ones are made better.
Anyone know if these have back mounts?
what is the input supported by the power supply?
I can get the european adapter myself no problem, but can the supply take the EUjuice?
