Tai-Hao’s new Cubic profile is a hybrid with a feel all its own. As if Cherry and OEM profile had a child, Cubic profile features the same height as OEM, but with square-shaped keys, just like the name suggests Read More

[Not a Verified Purchase as I designed this set and got a pile of them free direct from Tai-Hao]
These days Tai-Hao may not always scream "enthusiast" grade. They have made very affordable OEM PBT sets for keyboards for the past few years, and bang for buck they are great, though OEM and the relatively thin PBT was just not for me.
Back in the day Tai-Hao (who has been around for a very long time, btw) made some of the best caps around, so this is a company that does know what they are doing and has the capabilities to make some fantastic stuff.
Enter Cubic, a new profile from them. I was quite intrigued as soon as I saw the release. Thick ABS with a more angular profile (that looks amazing for pictures). I immediately got in touch with them and started working on a custom set with them. Jukebox seemed like an obvious choice simply because it has some hype behind it, and making an affordable version seemed like a great idea to me to cater to some folks that may not want to drop $120+ on an SP set.
Working directly with Tai-Hao to create this was a very fun, easy process. They were professional and accommodating in every way. The final product, with the box and sticker and cap puller and MD cap was just far better than I even expected!
I really hope Cubic catches on and other designers do some custom sets with them. Bang for buck, you cant really find a better deal out there for a custom set that has actual coverage for more than a 108 key keyboard.

I have to agree with @livingspeedbump that with this set you will really feel like you are getting the bang for your buck (or money for those overseas). I am especially happy that the caps did not feel like a nail file like the usual regular Tai-Hoa sets. I don't know if livingspeed suggested it to be smoother, but that is a good choice and I hope Tai-Hao will implement this on future sets they will sell.
At first I was afraid to purchase this set because I do own their Hawaii set , and the one for the K-type. I removed the ones on the K-type right away because I found them to be very rough keys. I don't like rough keys because I am an SA key cap enthusiast. I'm glad I took a chance on these. The packaging is fabulous and makes you feel like you ordered something from the 50s (plus I love the stickers, and the foil packaging for the novelties). I was imagining "Bewitched" was playing on the TV drawing printed on the box. If you have been wanting SA Jukebox, this is a good alternative set that comes very close to the original that will keep you occupied while you wait for the SA version. ;-)

They were so inexpensive it's hard to complain about anything - maybe the only thing for me is they're just a bit thinner than what I'm used to, but it's not a big deal. I got the green alphas to make it a Christmas-ish set, still on because they're quirky and cool. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Better than any Tai-hao's keyccaps I've ever owned. Personally, I think it's even better than JTK's double shot.

Cheap yet of very good quality!

Pros: It's Jukebox!
Cons: The fonts of the legends are inconsistent. As an example, take a look at the legends on the Win keys, it looks terrible. Also, some of the legends are shine through, others are not, which gives an unfinished or rushed look.
As for the shape of the cubic profile, I'm pretty neutral. I don't love it or hate it. I wouldn't go out of my way to get a set.

Good value for Jukebox
Doubleshot is king for keycaps for me, and Jukebox is one of my favorite keysets. I do think that the cubic profile doesn't do this set justice. I wish the texture on these were a little heavier but they are still well made aside from that

Noice color scheme
I mainly bought it for the alphas but the mint/teal modifier colours add a nice pop
