EwenFRIndeed: however, I would get one in Europe as the MD one comes without a warranty! Also: my colleague has the automatic version (6050-5 model) and that one has some serious QA issues: his seconds hand is rubbing against the inside of the crystal and has actually left a visible stripe between the 10 and 2 o'clock position. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. He's in the process of contacting their service desk, so let's see how they handle that... So I would be very hesitant buying one on MD without any warranty!

I forgot the MD warranty issue again.
Don't want to defend "Deutsche Qualität", but I think that this kind of defect is extremely difficult to identify on a brand new watch without visible scratch. Anyway, your colleague should get a replacement or at least a flawless repair from the brand and experience "Deutsche Garantie".

EwenFRLuckily he got it as a present, and it was ordered straight from the factory by his wife. So I'm sure they should handle it well. Not sure what the problems would be if he'd ordered it from MD...
