Horrendous deal for an ok watch. You can easily get this watch for the same price, or only a few dollars more, from an authorized dealer, with a warranty. consider the watch, but skip this no—deal.
I’ll also add that, personally, the Junghans Max Bill just blows this away. I feel like this watch screams “trying to be bauhaus” where the max bill defines bauhaus. hell, junkers even feels the need to slap “Bauhaus“ right on the face - not a fan.

Gorgeous watch, and I even added it to the Junkers Bauhaus poll, but after seeing the 6050-2 it's hard to see this as superior... Going to hold out for that one.

The 6050 -x doesn't say 'Bauhaus', it simply says 'automatic'.

This watch is €199 ( around $230 ) on Junkers e-shop, but the price includes 19% german VAT. I don't see the deal here.
PS: And apparently no warranty on top of that.

I forgot the MD warranty issue again.
Don't want to defend "Deutsche Qualität", but I think that this kind of defect is extremely difficult to identify on a brand new watch without visible scratch. Anyway, your colleague should get a replacement or at least a flawless repair from the brand and experience "Deutsche Garantie".

EwenFRLuckily he got it as a present, and it was ordered straight from the factory by his wife. So I'm sure they should handle it well. Not sure what the problems would be if he'd ordered it from MD...
