When Ethan Becker set out to create this series of KA-BAR knives, he aimed to produce a line for serious outdoorsmen and enthusiasts. The KA-BAR Becker BK21 Reinhardt Kukri is no exception. Both an EDC knife and a military weapon—even used in traditional wedding ceremonies—the kukri is an everyday staple of Nepalese culture. Its uses are many, from cutting and chopping to clearing and digging.
Note: This drop is limited to 50 units. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
The Becker BK21 Reinhardt features a 13.25-inch blade made from 1095 Cro-Van stainless steel. With it’s elongated, inwardly curved blade and ergonomic handle made from Ultramid, the BK21 is designed for power and control. Weighing in at 1.4 pounds, it’s surprisingly maneuverable for a knife of its stature. Black epoxy powder coating on the blade gives it a uniform look while also preventing reflection. Included in the drop is a polyester sheath for convenient carry and storage.
One of the most trusted names in knives, KA-BAR has been in the blade business since 1898. Perhaps best known for its Mark I military-issue knife, this New York-based company puts every product through a rigorous manufacturing process to ensure corrosion-resistance, strength, edge-holding ability, and out-of-box sharpness.
