urwahuzairThese are high quality aluminum switch openers. They will last you a lifetime of switch modding and are a good pick up if you ever plan to lube or film switches.

urwahuzairBecause there are enough idiots who believe that their switch opener is somehow difficult to manufacture and is "high quality" (whatever that means). I bought a switch opener on Ali 3 or 4 years ago for $3 and its holding up great, there is absolutely no reason for it to be TEN times more expensive but luckily for them a lot of people in this hobby are completely clueless. Also expensive=good

rockydbullJust asked KBDfans, and they responded that they've already done their side (shipping out to Drop). So as of now, it's all up to when the package arrives at Drop, and when Drop will distribute.

Warning! this switch opener is pretty tight on yok pandas and will probably damage it as you try to open them. Doesn't affect the function of the switch, only damages the outer body. Works fine on regular sized mx switches tho. Can't comment on other thicker mx switches since I haven't tried those yet.

DarkSilverI have one of the kbdfans openers that just arrived a couple days ago. I have been opening YOK red pandas with it. They are a little hard to open, requiring extra force, but there is no damage to the switches after doing so. I see no marring on the surface.
They also work super well on standard cherry switches.

Thornkinseems like it's not a problem with all of them. I guess I just had bad luck with mine. Needed the strength of hercules to open a yok with mine.

Hello, dropping in a few comments
- The issue with YOK Pandas and other SMD housings being slightly difficult to open is being fixed to the best of our abilities. Hopefully it won't be an issue with this run.
- This is the "next" batch, not the same batch as the previous GB through KBDfans' website. If you joined that one and things still haven't shipped, I highly recommend contacting KBDfans customer support.

Screwed in what form?
The YOK/SMD housing issue on the first run seems to range from very minor to severe; there is still a decent chance it will work fine with such switches. If you are using regular MX or Kailh-style housings, you will not see any major differences between the variants.

SlagathorI can vouch for Slagathor, I bought mine on AliExpress from KBDFans. Shipped from offshore and made it to my door in around a week....honestly crazy fast shipping. I can confirm that they are literally the same as well, not sure why these are going to take 2 months.
As to a previous comment: Yes it works with Yok Trash Pandas. I have also tried Kailh Box/Speed/Pro and Gaterons. The warning I would give is don't force the switch too hard as it will kind of give with not a lot of pressure. The Kailh clip that is meant for holding to the bracket can stick, but I think that's somewhat normal.

Just got notified they're delaying the order. Really? Takes you more than 3 months to deliver a small item like this? They only sold 382 of them.

(Mass)Drop is famous of not sending goods at stated dates. My guess is that ammount they sold is too small and they will do 2nd round in Q3/Q4 and maybe then they will ship round 1 and 2.
