I am planning to join the drop for vortex backlit keycaps but I am wondering how it will look on KC60 since the led placement is on the bottom of the switch. I hope livingspeedbump will do me a favor :D

superxtianAre you sure that the led placement is at the bottom of the switch. From what I can see in Keychatter it appears to be on top (I agree that it's not 100% clear).

superxtianThe LEDs are above the switch. Alex confirmed it on page 5 of the discussions, and if you look closely at the images on Keychatter of the PCBA and the keyboard with caps removed, they clearly show the slots for LEDs located above the switch.
The image you show is just taken from the reverse perspective. Consider the image adjacent to the one you link on Keychatter. Here you can discern based on the layout that the LEDs are above the switch, with the exception of the space bar for some reason.

superxtianI picked up some Vortex shine thrus because the LED's on the Gateron switches are on the top! Will look sick.

Neblin7I might also get the TEX acrylic case but for now I'll have to wait for this keyboard, 3 sets of keycaps and some LED's from ebay.
