Could we possibly have the power switch moved to the front because, you know, that's where the operator is? That way I wont have to reach over it and fumble around for a switch I can't see. I don't want to be knocking over valuable photos or expensive crystal vases when I go to turn it on. We clutz's do things like that all the time. This reminds me of the Shit power switch nonsense. It's like designing a car and putting the ignition under the hood so it will be closer to the battery.. dumb.

KJ741NThe rear power switch is like the power switch on the back of a computer. You turn it on and leave it on. You then press the large knob in on the S3 to power it up or use the remote control. :)

KJ741NThe main switch is on the back, but it has a very good standby mode with no lights that is operated by the volume knob (push it in to turn on, push it in for a couple of seconds to turn off). No need to use the rear switch at all.

OstewartI see. Thanks for the clarification. That sounds like a good design.

KJ741NTotally agree. This power switch on a rear side is ridiculous.

ld100As stated it acts like a computer main power switch, once on it does not need to be turned off via the back switch. The on/off is operated via the volume knob. wow you really made a big deal out of nothing...
