There is an android app apk you can download from the site that can let you connect to it via bluetooth. I have confirmed this works, and have synced time appropriately. it also lets you control auto on-off, brightness, and, RGB color, and more.
I haven't tried the PC download to see if it works (looks to be windows only, but my only windows machine is in the middle of a rebuild).
Also if you have wechat, scanning the starburst looking icon at the bottom (custom looking circular qr code looking thing) lets you get to a wechat applet that lets you control the same thing, though I had trouble getting wechat the right bluetooth permissions first. I suspect this will be how you control it if you only have an iOS device.
Also it's not super clear but tilting the clock while pugged in lets you control a lot of the color settings too.
