1) No 802.11ac!!! 2) No 5GHz 3) No gigabit ethernet
What is the point of this product, in 2016? In 2013, it might have been relevant.
It's really too bad - I'd love to know of a no-hassle-no-config product like this that I could suggest to friends and family who want one and can't be bothered to learn enough to set it up themselves on a more advanced router (say, using WPS). But this is ridiculous. Using wireless range extension you're already guaranteeing at most 50% of your otherwise usable wireless bandwidth, but without gigabit Ethernet, going wired saves you little or nothing. 5GHz offers better speed, but at the cost of poorer penetration, so a range extender is especially helpful for that, but too bad, you don't get 5GHz with this product. And not supporting 802.11ac??? That would guarantee that my home network would be slower than my cable internet connection.
Ridiculous.

FAIL. FAIL. And FAIL again. A.M.R is absolutely correct - there is absolutely NO reason anyone should buy this. My home system has been 802.11ac and 5GHz for over 2 years now, and I live in one of the most technologically backward states in the entire country (West Virginia.) Gigabit ethernet isn't here yet, but will be in about 6 months, but the first two have been standard for over 2 years. This product is a joke.
