No sip hole in the cover...? Why would I want to have to remove it and hold the corner in the other hand....???

is it too much to ask for a 20oz/600ml version?

Not really an ultralight item if you can't cook with it. Can't boil stuff. Will just add weight you don't need

UltrasoundTo me, the pull of titanium is the durability for someone on a long hike, and its a true ultralight product in that sense if you desire the luxury of something to keep your coffee/oatmeal/soup warm for more a minute on a 20 degree a.m.

UltrasoundI like that I can drink coffee out of mine without burning my hands or my lips on the cup. With double wall stainless that I had, the lip of the cup would heat up too much and burn you.

I bought the 4 nesting mug set they sold a bit ago, I don't find that they impart any taste. I otherwise use glass to drink out of, so I'm at least a little fussy ;-) The double wall is mostly just going to let you pick them up without burning your hands. Heat is mostly lost out the top.

Massdrop protip: the Vargo Titanium water bottle nests almost perfectly into the 300mL Keith Titanium mug.

Just received mine and I'm sorry to say, it was a waste of money. The mug imparts a metal taste into whatever I put in it. It has almost NO insulation properties. The top leaks with gentle movement (getting in the car), it doesn't fit in a cup holder and the only thing kind I can say is that it is light weight. Sorry I bought it!

shmacThis item meant for backpacking.
The top is not meant to prevent spilling, only to keep heat in a little longer, please read the product description. Cups that fit into cup holders are generally taller than they are wide -- a NEGATIVE for backpacking. Of course you are sorry you bought it, you bought an item for a VERY specific purpose and used it for something else.
I received a Yeti mug as a gift that I think would suit your purpose much better. It keeps liquid hot/warm for hours, and the lid prevents most spilling. It is taller than wider and fits in cup holders. Hope that helps!

I would like to know if one of these will slip over the end of a standard wide mouth nalgene bottle 3 5/8" or about 92mm inside diamete. Even better if it was 4 3/4" of an inch, then my sleeve could stay on the bottle and fit inside the cup (120mm)
