With a clean design and simple construction, Keith’s titanium single-walled mugs are a staple for any backpacking or camping trip. Titanium mugs are a lighter and stronger alternative to steel mugs, making them ideal for minimal backpacking and durable enough for everyday use Read More
Silly question: is there any reason why these shouldn't be used as an everyday coffee/tea mug? I'm not a camper, but do like the look and style of these mugs.
VertYou would need to very, very, careful if drinking hot liquids from these cups, just as you would from any other cup made of metal. They WILL burn you if not handled appropriately.
Looking to potentially purchase two of these & having one fit inside another, much like Matryoshka dolls, would be most helpful.
Can anyone testify to their stack ability?
Ty.
fin170So, I just joined purchasing: Ti3204 Single-Wall 450ml Mug & Ti3206 Single-Wall 550ml Mug & when I'm in receipt of them I'll testify toward their stack ability.
fin170Just arrived.
It was delayed by Irish Customs who in-turn charged me VAT @ 23% on a value they deemed €33.88 equaling €7.79 + postage @ €10 , totaling €17.79
atop €46.80 ($55.98) = €64.59.
The 450ml fits snugly into the 550ml - zero rattle & won't fallout.
One gripe: The triangle clip for lifting the lid on the smaller 450ml isn't ridged but a few taps with a tack-hammer easily fixed it.

I'm guessing every second mug will stack much like these two did?
I joined this drop, then canceled - I need the cups to nest and couldn't find any definitive answers. Massdrop - please include this sort of info in the drop!!
In my case, needed to maximize space in the smaller/nested cup, so couldn't tell if I could nest a 500 or 550ml inside the 650ml.. Given other questions, i'm clearly not the only one with this desire.
Does anybody know which sizes nest comfortably in other sizes? It would be nice to do a single boil in a 650mL mug, pour 250mL in to a 400mL for a cup of coffee, and have plenty left over for breakfast, and have everything nest for compact carrying.
VanCitylooking at the measurements, it looks like up to the 500ml would comfortably nest in the 650ml, taking in to account some space for the handle which I imagine isn't included in the diameter measurement.
SheppyThe lid has a recess that sits a few mm deep inside the cup but it is loose, it doesn't snap in place.
Go to the 44 second mark.

TtggPay attention the handles aren't isolated, so if it's used for cooking/boiling, don't grab them bare-handed straight after (I have the 900ml version and made that mistake recently :( )
