Anyone know if you can buy the lid for the 600ml cup separate? Looks like it comes with the lid if you buy just that one cup. I've searched around but had no luck finding it.
asilazepolFamily of four with a Dad that used to go on extended excursion backpacking trips, and wants to take his family camping while maintaining the illusion that he needs all that gear? At least these will probably get used instead of sitting sadly in the trunk like the hand pump water filter "just in case!".
The lid that came with my 600 ml mug is nice and useful. I’d really like to have the smaller sizes as well, but I‘m not sure I really ‘need’ them all since the 600ml is so versatile. Just the 300 ml for $25 would be nice 👍
We have the Keith double walled bowls, and they have been through the dishwasher a few times when we returned from camping trips. No issues from going through the hot wash cycle.
But the bowls may be thicker walled than these mugs.
does anyone know if these are dishwasher safe? this is a solid price from where I've seen them elsewhere, but I'm definitely seeing conflicting information on if they are ok in a dishwasher. Thanks
beetbearI occasionally wash my Soto double wall in the dishwasher.
As well as single walled titanium without silicone coated handles.
Trying to understand the conflicting reports... maybe a very hot dry cycle heating it unevenly could crack the rim? Oh well, I figure if it's that darn fragile it deserves to crack. ʘ‿ʘ
beetbearI got this set when there was the Ketih Titanium blue box. I have run all mine through the dishwasher (high temp wash), and they fared just fine. I have only used mine for hot coffee so far, but I find that they insulate a lot better than the Snow Peak double walled insulated mug.
the snow peak lids are pretty nice, with a silicon gasket. i know they won’t stack when covered and aren’t spillproof, but the insulation of a double-walled mug is less useful without a lid. okay, it also prevents burning your hands when holding, so there’s that.
delnerdoThe snow peak lid looks more useful (if it fits?) than the not-included one =) which is made of two plastic discs with a thin silicone ring around the edge and won't stay put inside the mug.
