Don’t be fooled by its slim profile: The Kershaw Shuffle offers more than just cutting power. This multi-use knife is equipped with two other tools for everyday use Read More
I think the perfect description of this knife would be "just fine". It isn't all that sharp out of the box. It isn't the smoothest thing to open. The bottle opener doesn't work that well and has a tendency to dig into your hand when clipped in a right hand front pocket (making it necessary to relocate the clip). It isn't really big enough to do anything other than open boxes. But if you need a beater knife or something you don't care about losing, this will probably fit the bill.
I bought the shuffle on the last drop. Terrible knife, terrible chinesium metal, stiff opening, hard to close, and the profile of the blade makes it hard to cut anything that’s not a box.
wha?? A drop that is actually cheaper than Amazon?!1?!?
But really this is a great EDC knife for someone who wants something cheap and reliable. I have carried this and the shuffle 2 for years now and never had a problem with either.
I am so tempted to get this drop but the last time I got a Shuffle from here it came apart and I am still unable to get the correct screws for it. Massdrop did not provide very much help so I would caution research beforehand.
If one gauges value in terms of dollars relative to utility, the Kershaw Shuffle is damn hard to beat. I have one in the kitchen miscellaneous drawer and it comes in handy all the time. Great for the glovebox or camping bag too.
I picked up a purple one from a competitor. The cost was $12.95. I ordered sufficient things to have free shipping. I gave my old purple one this morning to a friend that had admired it a while back. Jonas. I can't imagine you or anyone having this is the kitchen to do useful things. If you need this to do useful things, then you need to look at purchasing some decent kitchen knives. If I remember correctly, I have seen kitchen knives offered here. Buy some of your own stuff. I expect that you would get a discount over and above what any of us Droppers could dream of.
