At its core, the Dividend is a slimmer, lightweight version of the popular Kershaw Link. Featuring a 3-inch blade made from Damascus steel, it has just enough belly for slicing and plenty of piercing power Read More
Nice knife... terrible deal! Damascus is nice to look at, but if you want a better deal look at the 1812BLK (just released) - it has M390 steel and anodized handle. Kershaw is really beginning to compete by upgrading the Dividend and Link, and I've been waiting for a great American-made knife at a reasonable price!
Yes, that's also a great value. The Link is a sturdier knife and consequently a little heavier. The Dividend (aluminum handle model) is a lot lighter, so buyers have a great choice based on their needs.
I just picked up a kershaw launch 2 auto from bladehq for the same price. Anodized bronze Aluminum body 3.4" blade cpm154 stonewash finish and about 3.5 ounces and American made! An amazing value if you ask me! Theres 6 or 7 different versions and several different color configurations ranging from $65 to about $100 for those not familar with the Kershaw automatics. Ill pass on the damascus assisted link.... While its good looking you can find the skyline damascus for about $60 all day on ebay if you really want a kershaw damascus folder. I already have a couple damascus fixed blade knife kits to hold me over for now but ill probably go w the skyline when i want a damascus folder.
Did anyone else get a defective knife? Blade on mine had imperfection and have to send it back and unfortunately Massdrop does not have any more in stock :(((
rbmassdropI know this post is a year old but for others reading damascus sometimes has inclusions due to the process involved in making it however kershaw should have caught that in QC! Unacceptable
