Designed by Rick Hinderer, who also designed the popular Kershaw Cryo, the Agile is a compact and well-built flipper for everyday tasks. To be frank, the knife doesn’t look particularly agile at first glance, but look a little closer and it’s easy to tell Read More
So now that this drop is live again, can Massdrop confirm that the knife customers will receive is indeed the Kershaw Hinderer Agile? Most of the comments from the last drop are of people stating they received a completely different knife.
MichaelHeartlessI thought it was way darker then the picture shows the front of the knife and was very , very DISAPPOINTED.....I want a bright silver look not a beat up dark look. I put it in my draw and never looked at it again.....
Looks nice and I really like the ability to change out the back-spacer to different tools like a bottle opener or flat-head. I wish Kershaw would offer more models without speed safe though.
mat666paw666It is an assisted opening knife which in most legal jurisdiction is completely different from a spring operated switchblade or an automatic knife that opens with the push of a button. But I am not a lawyer and you might want to check the laws in your area.
Edit: it seems that AU considers an assisted open knife the same as an automatic knife, so it is illegal there.
Thankfully a neighbor I have never spoken to delivered the package to me and to make matters worse, ITS THE WRONG KNIFE!!! Massdrop, this will be my last order from you.
Anyone in Canada ordered an assisted opener and had it arrive? Any problems/fees at customs? I know this is legal here, and I can buy assisted openers online from stores based in Canada, but it wouldn't at all surprise me if it was held up by some customs agent or at least had extra charges tacked on. I'd love to buy this, but i'm not going to take the risk.
