Does anybody know if this will ship to Australia without being seized by our customs services?

Success! Arrived fine in Australia. Possibly helped that it was completely accurately labelled Boker Mini Kwaiken. No idea if it would have made it if labelled Nasty Sharp Knife. Anyway, yay for Customs.

Great looking knife. To bad it's made in China. I would pay more for USA made knives.

Got mine yesterday. Blade was off center, wouldn't lock up and one of the handle screws is lose and falls out. Twice I've gotten crap knives from massdrop. I'm done

No safety lock?
AngryDropI've used my Oso for years and never had an unintended opening or close call. With these the blade point is up and for us righties it comes defaulted to where your pocket also helps hold the blade in place. Didn't check if this one is reversible/configurable on the pocket clip... Were this tip down and not configurable I would be concerned...

AngryDropI bought a Leek last July and a few months later the lock broke, the actual lock piece is plastic. This is with just daily carry absolutely no heavy use. I must say the knife stays pretty well closed but I do carry it tip up against the inside of my pocket.

Hey Everybody - I got some news from the vendor. Production of this knife is backed up until October, and as opposed to making everyone wait several months for something we promised would take a few weeks, we are going to have to end this drop. Rest assured when these knives come back into production we will try to get them for the community again! Thanks for your understanding!

So, the bit I agree with: Of course, the cheaper the item cost is, the better, particularly with exchange rates involved ;)
'Meh, same price as Amazon' misses the point somewhat, when the positive for the (many) non-USAians is 'wow, I can actually get this - cool'. Sometimes the advantage of Massdrop is the cheaper shipping, or in many cases, the possibility of any shipping at all, to countries other than the USA.
Not having a crack at our 'murican friends (hi, y'all!) however: Massdrop, please keep offerings like this coming, as they have value and are valued. Cheers, 'straya/ROTW.

Got mine today. It came quite sharp, well centered and with neither too much nor too little tension in the blade pivot. The lockup is super solid with no blade play in any direction. It's a bit challenging to disengage the lock one-handed but with a bit of practice I can get it done. Nice pocket clip. Good ergos overall for a knife where the handle is a bit too short for my hand; I really like the coarse jimping where my thumb rests on the spine. Heavy, as one would expect from stainless steel scales. At this price point there is nothing not to like.
