Knifemaker Les George puts function before anything else. It makes sense why: a former marine, George understands the importance of a good folder—not to mention he’s got more than 22 years’ experience making them. The Seguin is an all-steel flipper that packs a punch. Named after heroic Texas revolutionary Juan Seguin, it’s not the longest blade out there, but it’s built for tough tasks. It packs a 3.1-inch 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade and a deep-carry pocket clip to help conceal it when not in use. The blade springs open fast thanks to the SpeedSafe assisted opening system, a Ken Onion innovation that’s seen plenty of pocket time. When open, the stainless steel frame lock will keep the blade firmly in place.
