It delivers 100% what it claims...it’s a very practical edc knife. Comes sharp and easily takes an even sharper edge. The bottle opener is well designed for easy use and doesn’t interfere with other uses. i took off the clip, it rests in the bottom of pocket comfortably (unlike my larger knive I carry point up in pocket with clip ). It’s also great to throw in a checked bag when traveling internationaly (less than three inch blade, no assist open, not ‘dangerous‘ looking...still can’t go some places like Japan because it does lock....but good for Canada & most of Europe........so, just buy it, you will find yourself throwing it into your pocket frequently
Had it a year now and love it. The lock isn't 100% rock solid, but it's damn sturdy! I've used the knife many times and the bottle opener in invaluable- haven't used the "screwdriver" yet, but I'm sure it's fine. This is a great little knife that is inexpensive enough that it wouldn't be a tragedy if it were to break or become lost- perfect.
Liner lock doesn't engage very well... Looks like wasn't finished well and really have to manually push it over. Inexpensive knife but don't care to lose and fingers over it
Initially I really liked this knife and got a lot of use out of the bottle opener. Hard to complain at this price point, but after using this as my daily carry for a few weeks, the hardware got loose and when I tried to tighten the screws, one of the threaded inserts came out of the handle and the screw was stripped. I reached out to Kershaw to get replacement hardware, but their solution was to ship the knife, at my own expense, back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement under warranty. So, I would have to spend $8-9 to send my $9 knife back to Kershaw to get a replacement $9 knife... It lives in the back of a drawer now and I bought another Spyderco.
