Workhorse of a Knife

I been using the knife a year or so now, on and off. It has been a tank with everything I've put it through from shaving kindling and opening paint cans to cleaning fish scales and being a substitute marking knife for wood&brass work. And an additional plus its easy to sharpen.

I started to give this knife a four star review but subtle changes that I personally would like to see, shouldn't take away the five stars that this knife deserves. This is a UGLY-BEAUTIFUL knife, it kind of reminds me of a well made Stone-age weapon. The grip is very comfortable. The design is great, it has a little weight to it that makes it feel as if the material is of high quality. The length is good for personal defense and the action is great! The g10 scales makes it feel comfortable in hand. There is jimping on the spine of the blade and on the flipper. The pocket clip is deep carry and looks nice and can be used for left or right handers, it is tip up. Overall the knife is a little thick but not as thick as the Benchmade Griptilian. The blade material is 8Cr13MoV. I think this knife is worth the price.

Well built knife. It's not my favorite Kershaw because it's a little thick. But overall a good knife. Good blade shape, ergonomic, good deployment, deep carry clip.

I held the Ferrite at a sporting goods store and instant loved it. After getting this, I went back to get the Ferrite and didn't get it because I like the feel and action of the Vedder bedder 😉
