The Kershaw Vedder’s handle looks like something you might find on the surface of the moon. Pair that with the titanium-carbo-nitride-coated wharncliffe blade and you’ve got a dark look that’s sure to turn heads Read More
Where is my knife. I was to received it arrived on Mar. 11, but it has not should up yet. Please let me knew when . It is the Kershaw Vedder A/O Folding Knife Thanks . Larry
I love the blade shape on this knife. The Kershaw/ZT style wharncliffe is the best of all worlds IMO. Slicey, relatively flat cutting edge, but still a bit of curve to it, and pointy enough but not intimidatingly so. I've always like the Kershaw deep carry clip too. Looks like a good value knife.
DreadJimYou pay nothing unless the lowest price is achieved. If the lowest price is within reach of Buyers and Commit'ers, then those that buy and those that commit all make the purchase at the lowest price at the time of end-of-sale.
I own this knife and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested. The correct thickness is not 0.11" but a razor thin 0.08". It is a speed safe and very comfortable in hand and pocket.
I wrote a praising review on Blade Hq and I'd write one on this site if I could. 5/5
I own a few knives, from Ferrum Forge to Bestech and Steel Will to Real Steel. Benchmades HK discontinued brand and some other folders. I'm convinced this is my favorite knife because it was affordable, soft steel that I don't mind getting beat up, and flat out fun to use. And the Titanium coating is pretty resilient.
Illinois_knife_guyI wouldn't exactly call 8Cr13MoV soft, but I know what you mean. I'm trying to limit myself to beater knives (at least in cost) so that I'm never afraid to actually use them.
bookworm13Exactly. not soft in the sense of failure, but as in easy to sharpen and polish. most my sharpening is done with strop and compound and 8Cr13 gets sharp pretty quick.
If it were made of a harder metal than I would be happier but good 8Cr13 is a piece of cake to work with, so not much to whine about.
