does anyone who owns this keyboard feel qualified to vouch for its toughness and feel? I want to get it for a dear friend and would feel better knowing that he will get a good product. My only extensive mechanical experience is with mx blues and cant really comment on kailh switches.

MidnaspetI have two old generation keycools and two new generation keycools and they are all sturdy boards. No LED issues, no switch issues and no build issues. I will always vouch for keycool as a manufacturer, with or without cherry switches.
