Hey folks,
I've put together a few resources about this very fine keyboard here:
https://github.com/GonzaloAlvarez/ifd68
Including:
* Original programmer windows application from keywalker
* Original firmware software and firmware files from keywalker
* Review images and disassembly images from Pinwaishe.com
* Manuals and docs from FCC
* Summary of options and keybindings
Also, I'm currently working on:
* Key/Lights programmer for Linux/OSX (my goal is to have the lights blinking upon receiving an email, for instance)
* Embed a Raspberry Pi Zero W
I hope you guys like it. Please, if you want to reach out or you have ideas, submit an issue in https://github.com/GonzaloAlvarez/ifd68/issues, even for questions or whatever, and I'll be happy to hear.
Happy typing!!
phinicotaYes, it does. I've been able to make it work with my desktop on Ubuntu Zesty (17.04). The only thing that doesn't work is the software for updating the configuration on Linux. But that doesn't work through bluetooth anyways.
GordonKnowsSorry to ask stupid question, but how have you managed to get it working with ubuntu?
Worked fine for me on OSX, but lately I'm working more often on ubuntu/centos and would be great to connect ifd to it.
It's not getting detected by bluetooth scan (I assume bluetooth module is old or something is wrong with my laptop), so would be great if i can use it wired for time being.
Any hints appreciated, and once I get it working - will help ya out with python coding.
InocenteJust curious, did you turn on the switch and set it to pairing mode by holding down FN + Q key? The Q key would then start flashing and it's in pairing mode.
