A follow-up to the impressive multi-driver H3, the Kinera IDUN kicks things up a notch with improved sound, craftsmanship, and nozzle design. This IEM is built with two balanced armatures and a single 7-millimeter dynamic driver per ear, which work together to deliver a smooth, balanced, and warm sound signature Read More
The Kinera Iduns are the most chillaxing IEMs on the market to my knowledge, and this is about as cheap as they get. If you need to relax or relieve some stress, these are basically therapeutic. They sound great. Buy them.
MotherBNHi fellow audio enthusiast,
I'm also a frequent user of foam tips - if you are using comply foam tips, they recently launched a new kind foam tips that is exactly for IEM's that do not have specific compatibility with any of the existing lines of comply tips.
I just bought a package of those for some IEM's that I could never really use any foam tips with them as there was no compatibility even on other foam tips brands such as dekoni.
The new tips are called SMARTCORE and they fit most round IEM nozzles that has a diameter between 4.8mm - 6.3mm (0.19” - 0.24”).

Looking at the design of the nozzles on these IEMs, it seems you could also use the comply custom wraps.

"...with improved...nozzle design." Seriously? It seems to me that any product designer with experience in the field should already know the optimum nozzle design for an IEM. If you have to change design to make the function better or to adapt to a new driver placement, fine. But incremental "nozzle design" changes reads to me as poor design in the first place...which, in turn, makes me doubt the quality of the product from that manufacturer. ''improved...nozzle design" ? What? You screwed up the first time? Sorry for being snarky.
Yeah its super annoying when that happens. I am really interested in these though as I have really enjoyed the h3. For bargain hybrids they sound really great. Like i said my only complaint is that they are a bit harsh in the mid highs and highs and the low end is present but not full. If these fix that issue i see no reason why not to get these. Give the h3 to my g/f haha.
Yeah what the fuck, even on all my IEMs with a lip, my tips fall off all the time. The only lip-less nozzle IEMs I've had were the KZ ZST and it was a nightmare just from that.
It IS a pretty basic concept, and having a lip-less nozzle could be like selling a car with bald proprietary tires.
expontheriseYou can buy this cable seperate right on Amazon with prime shipping. I own the kinera idun and can confirm this is the exact same cable. I've already purchased two of them. It's a fantastic cable.
bdingRather. I ended up with the white, wish I'd known about them at the beginning of the initial production run. They did a limited set of stabwood, which are on a totally different level looks wise.
These reviews have pictures of the stabwood version:

AzeendeenI can drive my KEF M500 headphones (same impedance, lower sensitivity) with an s8, and it's doable, but gets a little close to maxing the scale on quieter songs. It should be able to drive these, but if you like your music exceptionally loud, you might need a portable amp anyway.
