I just picked up mine and it appears to be V2. I prefer the deep(ish) clip, so that's good. I wonder why they switched from flat to hollow grind and than back to flat? The edge of my Rogue is not perfectly straight, the tip does raise a little. Is that the case with the newer Rogue? Overall for the price I paid it's a great knife, smooth action and great grip. Very sharp. It does bother me on principle that they sent out multiple versions, but in this case it seems another update was made and new stock was sent out.

JKreeseEdge not being straight is actually the reason why they switch it back to flat grind. I received v2 prior to this drop and the grind on mine is horrible, wavy and the tip is raised. TBH i think v2 is the inferior version compared to v1 and v3. v1 has out of the box sharpness issue but can be easily remedied.

massdrop01The grind on mine looks fine and the edge is sharp, so maybe this is from a different batch. Dirk Pinkerton himself said that it was hard to make a straight edge when the V2 update came out. I'm not exactly sure what that means. Still weird to mix them up like that but for the price I'm glad I got one.
