Designed by knifemaker Dirk Pinkerton, the Kizer Escort feels rock solid in the hand thanks to a titanium handle with jimping in all the right places. It sports a built-in frame lock to keep the blade in place when open. Opening the knife is a breeze, too, as it rides on ball bearings and deploys with the flipper tab. As for the blade, it measures a prominent 3.5 inches for use across a wide range of tasks. Made from arguably the best commercial steel on the market in S35VN, it won’t fail due to lack of an edge or wear. The drop-point profile features a wide belly for slicing and a strong tip for piercing. Carry the Escort with the right-handed tip-up clip, styled in black to complement the blade’s finish.
Note: This drop is limited to 100 units. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we can only ship this knife to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (arguably the most famous knifemaker in the world), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process of powdered metallurgy known as CPM, which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
