Product Description
Small and mighty, the Klarus Mi7 Prismatic is a take-anywhere torch with plenty of power. With a typical AA battery, it offers up to 330 lumens, but load it with a lithium-ion 14500 battery and you get an impressive 700 lumens of output and a beam that shines over 100 meters Read More

This is a great flashlight provided you use a 14500 battery. Great form factor and the lock out function saves the battery from being wasted in your pocket!

It's a good light, with one key issue. The AA battery that comes with the light works fine but I feel like its a touch dim. It is still 300 lumens and it's a good brightness but in my use case, I prefer the brightness of a 14500. With the battery upgrade, it works wonders: but for 3 minutes at a time. The light tends to heat up significantly with a 14500 but is too dim with a AA. For those that bought or is looking to buy this light, I 100% recommend it if you're looking for a light that is wonderfully pocketable. Brightness to my opinion is only a minor issue and honestly can be looked over. build quality is top notch for about 25 bucks.

Dims horribly when Fujitsu LSD (same as eneloop) reaches 1.2v. 1.2v for NiMH is nowhere near empty and should not be dropping to whats basically a moonlight level. If you buy this light, stick to lithium. If I'm stick pocket rocket batteries in my pants I'd rather just use something bigger. EDIT: to clarify, it even dims like this on low. what a load of crap. I got more full power runtime on low from the stock alkaline than a nimh.

On/off button sticking above the body level of the flashlight makes this light go off in the pocket like crazy. Needs redesigned.

marcusAntoniusIf yibhold down the power button Dunhill it flashes twice you can put it into a lock out mode. Then a triple click will turn it on again

MynameisjeffI know that. But to do it every time when using the flashlight it is unnecessary and cumbersome.

The button on the side makes frequently gets pressed in my pocket by my keys, and requires the light be rotated to align the button under your fingers which is slower than a tail switch. Otherwise a great light.

Nice, no frills light.
I really like the ease of use of this light. I just wish the clip was a little sturdier...

Ehh
Great Light, bright! But, I think it drains batteries just being on stand by in your pocket. Comes on mistakenly, a lot, in your pocket due to the switch location. The lock switch is a pain in the ass to use. I say again, BRIGHT light. Lost my clip, it wasn't very tight.
