These earbuds are of similar sound quality to the newer apple earbuds. The difference is with the increased isolation and longer lifespan. I've owned a version without the inline mic for about 3 years. Just know that you'll want something of better quality after about 2 years of use. The pouch that they show you is very useful by the way. It's ridiculously compact yet protective enough. No problem with pocket bulge.
